This triptych sculpture was created with intention of exploring notions of critique placed upon the contemporary artist within the institutional landscape, and the anxieties and restraint that can permeate. The conflict of desire as an artist and the anxieties of exemplification of social critique creates an emotional perception to said artist on display. The work exists within a corner space, with censoring of content and a chaotic composition to resemble this idea, and force the viewers perspective to take on a number of different viewpoints to allow for movement and interaction to understand the number of layers that exist within the work just as one would for an artist or another human being.
